DAM of Thrones: The Assets Are Coming

Game of Thrones sword for DAM

The season 8 release of Game of Thrones is almost here and we are more excited than Tormund Giantsbane when Jon Snow came back to life in season 6. Like most grandiose dramas that grace our high-resolution screens, Game of Thrones represents some valuable lessons for our seemingly less grandeur realities.

If you watch Game of Thrones, you probably know of (or are in love with) Daenerys Targaryen, the revered Khaleesi. She is the ultimate leader because she unites people with purpose while still managing to be a major badass. However, no one can deny that she goes through a whole load of harrowing experiences to get her to that point. Don’t even get us started on the dragon-related heartbreak at the end of season 7.

But we have good news. If you’re in marketing and want to be like a Khaleesi but without all the torment of dragon-mothering, war-raging, and romantic distress, there is a way! Have you heard of DAM?

Digital Asset Management (DAM) is a digital system where you can unite your teams with a central hub for all of your assets and data. When you implement a DAM, you can put an end to the content-related silos in your company. Daenerys would do well to have an army that is constantly equipped with the weapons they need to be victorious. Similarly, a DAM gives your marketing teams immediate access to the images, pictures, and videos they need to create and launch a killer campaign.

The best part? You don’t have to raise dragons or go through any of the other unsavory experiences that the great Daenerys Targaryen often faces.

If your company is growing, you can’t deny it: the assets are coming. It’s time to make their future more predictable than the final season of Game of Thrones. Do you have a DAM that can handle it?
