MediaBeacon, Inc., a leading provider of digital asset management and rich media solutions, today announced a closely aligned relationship with Aysling Digital Media Solutions. Aysling brings the latest technology to clients through Adobe's Creative Suite and WoodWing's Enterprise content publishing system allowing both traditional and non-traditional publishers to plan, create and deliver content to their audience faster and through a broader set of channels.
WoodWing's Digital Magazine Tools coupled with Adobe's InDesign technology enable publishers to easily create beautifully designed and compelling content for the web, mobile and Apple iPad in almost the same way they produce content for print. Because these tools present themselves simply as new panels in InDesign, the layout staff is easily able to use them without special training. The Digital Magazine Tools are an extension to WoodWing's Enterprise publishing system, which is already being used by numerous publishers around the world for their print publications.
With this initiative, MediaBeacon's digital asset management platform is now integrated with the WoodWing Suite of products to better manage, search and re-purpose all types of rich media in the development of both print and rich output formats. The integration shows the strength of persistent metadata through the XMP standard allowing the creative workflow process without any connectors, plug-ins or additional coding. The partnership will also allow Aysling to sell, install and support the MediaBeacon's solution along with Woodwing and Adobe offering a seamless cross-media publishing solution for organizations.
"We found that the two technologies would bring immediate value to our clients by streamlining the creative process through WoodWing's Enterprise and having MediaBeacon as the 'system of record' for all digital media," said Patrick Becker, CEO of Asyling Digital Media Solutions. "We were so impressed, we have decided to sell, install and support MediaBeacon."
"It became apparent that the knowledge Aysling has of the creative process and the success they have had in the publishing and print space made for a natural partnership," said Tom Rieger, VP, Marketing and Business Development, MediaBeacon. "And their ability to take that and broaden out to other output channels like the Apple iPad allows our clients to move closer to publishing in more places with little additional overhead; generating more revenues and profit."
There is a webcast scheduled for September 15th at 1:00pm Central time to review how these combined technologies can help organizations better create, manage, publish and repurpose to traditional and evolving publishing paradigms without any additional people or time. Click here to pre-register.
