The Technical Project Manager plays a central role to the MediaBeacon Solution implementation. This role requires a unique balance of business insight and technical competence to effectively identify, secure, build, and deliver solutions to our customers. In addition to managing projects using agile methodologies, successful candidates will be capable of performing requirements analysis, change management, technical writing, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Customer expectations, delivery timelines, and project scope to provide solutions on time and within budget
  • Facilitate Discovery and Implementation work shops on-site or remotely
  • Analyze customer workflows and processes, document customer requirements, and document end-to-end solutions
  • Document implemented solutions and best practices for future use by customers or other MediaBeacon team members
  • Diagnose problems critically and aggressively while employing creative problem solving skills Provide reports and feedback on projects to customer
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer to internal MediaBeacon team members, such as the Product Manager or R & D Manager
  • Keep current in job knowledge by studying state of the art development tools, learning business tools (including the Danaher Business System), participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
  • Complete other responsibilities, tasks, and assignments which may be required or assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Networking, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in IT related Project Management
  • A firm grasp of the workings of web applications, including security, session management, and development best practices
  • Proficiency in web mark-up, including HTML and CSS
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience in defining and testing functionality for customized software
  • Ability to diplomatically handle escalations, document, and lead change management
  • Strong client consulting and Senior Management relationship-building skills
  • Prior experience in implementing enterprise web-based, cloud-based, and on-premise software
  • Ability to travel (approximately 25-75%)
